Third Street Corridor Project: Slogans Needed!

Call for Submissions: 3rd Street Slogan Contest

Sample art for final Third Street banners.

The Third Street Corridor Project is searching for a Bayview-Hunters Point community stakeholder to create a slogan for our Third Street commercial corridor. The slogan should have the effect of shining a positive light on our unique and thriving community and its main business district, as part of the ongoing Third Street corridor campaign. (A sample of how the art and slogan might be used together is shown here.) Current slogans under consideration include:

  • The Sunny Side of San Francisco
  • It’s All Happening Here
  • The Hidden Treasure of San Francisco
  • Takin’ It Back
  • Keep it Third
  • Soul of the City
  • Downtown’s Uptown
  • Experience our Flavor

The selected slogan’s creator will receive a $500 stipend for his/her submission. Rights surrounding use of the slogan will become property of the Third Street Corridor Project.

Slogan submissions should not exceed 15 words in length and should be emailed to by June 11th at 12:00pm. Please include your name and contact information together with the slogan.
